He told them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”
–Luke 10:2 (NIV)

Hope for Syria: CP/LMCO gifts change lives (2:47)
First-hand account of how Christian workers are using Lottie Moon Christmas Offering and Cooperative Program dollars to meet the needs of Syrian refugees who have suffered so much. How will you help?

Here at College Heights, we have a passion for missions both locally and around the world. We know it is God's desire and calling that all people, in every toungue and in every nation, know the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, and we want to be a part of His work throughout the whole world. Besides giving a a percentage right off the top of our budget to the Cooperative Program (, we want to go above and beyond to help ministries all across the world and even across the street.

PRAISE GOD, we reached our goal of $12,000.00 for 2015 given to the WMF. Thank you to everyone in the church who gave and prayed for the dollars given and all the people reached throught he ministries associated. Now, we move onto another goal!

The World Mission Fund is an opportunity for our church members to give to a specific fund where every doller is divided up into five different ministries. Instead of holding once-a-year offerings such as the Lottie Moon Christmas offering or the Annie Armstrong Easter offering, we have challenged our church to give to these organizations all year long. Below is information on each ministry and how each dollar is divided.

50% - International Mission Board (Lottie Moon Christmas Offering)

Giving to the IMB "enables missionaries to be sent to make disciples and multiply churches among unreached peoples and places for the glory of God." We have the blessing to be a part of supporting missionaries and ministries all over this world.

IMB partners with churches to empower limitless missionary teams who are making disciples and multiplying churches among unreached peoples and places for the glory of God.

More than 4,800 people groups - close to 1 billion people - still live with little or no access to the gospel. Fast facts contains up-to-date statistics.

IMB is an entity of the
Southern Baptist Convention, the nation's largest evangelical denomination, claiming more than 40,000 churches with nearly 16 million members.

25% - North American Mission Board (Annie Armstrong Easter Offering)

"The North American Mission Board exists to work with churches, associations and state conventions in mobilizing Southern Baptists as a missional force to impact North America with the gospel of Jesus Christ through evangelism and church planting. We accomplish that through  Send North America, our national strategy for mobilizing churches to plant churches and mobilizing church planters and other missionaries to assist with those efforts."

10% - Baptist Children's Home

"The mission of Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children is to help children become capable, caring Christian adults by sharing Christ's love and providing hope and homes for children. To meet our mission, Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children operates four residential campuses, four Hope Pregnancy Centers, an adolescent maternity/mother and child program and an adult mother and child program."

10% - Edna McMillan State Missions

The Edna MicMillan State Missions offering is all about pouring into the state of Oklahoma. Their motto says, "We are Oklahoma Missions". By giving to the Edna McMillan State Mission Offering through your local church, you are not only supporting the ReConnect Sunday School Initiative; you are also supporting church planting, Disaster Relief, collegiate ministry, and evangelism projects. you are also supporting a safe haven for victims of human trafficking so that they can receive counseling and ministry." It is easy to look out in the community of Chickasha and see how the State Missions Offering is being put to use.

5% - Global Hunger Relief

GHR(Global Hunger Relief) is an initiative of Southern Baptists that was formerly known as the World Hunger Fund. GHR-funded projects combat hunger in North America and around the world in a wide variety of ways, from participating in disaster relief to addressing chronic hunger, human trafficking—and much more.

GHR is one of the most effective channels for donating toward the global hunger crisis. While most humanitarian organizations may keep from 30% to 70% for administrative overhead (buildings, salaries, advertising, etc.), GHR is able to devote resources directly to meeting hunger needs because of the unique partnership it represents:

We are currently on track to meet our goal, but we still need your help. We feel like we can exceed our goal of $12,000.00 and give above and beyond what we can even imagine. If you want to give to the World Mission Fund, please just mark an offering envelope or let the front office know, and we will direct the funds.

Thank you!
